Akademia Santander Orchestra to edukacyjna odsłona popularnego projektu dla młodych muzyków. Prezentujemy cykl zajęć praktycznych w zakresie gry orkiestrowej połączony z zajęciami teoretycznymi dotyczącymi m.in. kształtowania swojego portfolio czy zarządzania wizerunkiem. Warsztaty masterclass to seria lekcji indywidualnych prowadzonych przez wybitnych muzyków na których mile widziani będą bierni słuchacze oraz praca w sekcji z zadanym wcześniej repertuarem. Ilość uczestników: do 20 osób. Zajęcia prowadzone są przez wybitnych muzyków orkiestrowych. Repertuar prób zawiera żelazne pozycje z egzaminów do orkiestr.

Przygotowanie teoretyczne to cykl wykładów (savoir-vivre, prawo autorskie, social media, public relations). Wykładowcami są specjaliści z danej dziedziny, prowadzący zwięzłe prelekcje, zawierające maksymalnie skondensowaną ilość informacji.

Polish violinist and chamber musician. He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw, where he studied in the class of violin supervised by Professor Krzysztof Jakowicz. Since 1975, Jan Stanieda has been a member of the Polish Chamber Orchestra under Jerzy Maksymiuk. In 1977, he became its concertmaster and soloist.

Winner of multiple awards at top national and international competitions, including the 3rd place in the ARD competition in Munich. Guest artist at a number of festivals. She was nominated to ”Paszporty Polityki” and received the Fryderyk 2014 Music Award for her solo album “Viola Recital”. She was recognised with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship for outstanding achievements and “Young Poland” scholarship.

She is a very active soloist and chamber musician. Performed with: Sinfonia Varsovia, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra of Wrocław, National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra, Amadeus National Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia Viva. From 2003 to 2004, she was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. In 2003, she joined the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra and since 2004, she has been cooperating with the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.

He graduated from The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and has completed a number of music courses in Germany, Denmark and France. Recognised with multiple prizes as a soloist and chamber musician. Winner of the Excellentia & Supersonic Award for the recording of Krzysztof Penderecki’s Clarinet Quartet. He is an active pedagogue: he gave a master class during ClariFest in Porto. In 2014, he organised the European Clarinet Congress in Katowice as an artistic director.

A laureate of a number of international cello competitions. In 2011, he graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice. He also studied at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and completed studies at Chapelle Musicale Reine Elizabeth in Brussels under the academic supervision of Gary Hoffman. He is an assistant lecturer in the String Instruments Department at the Music Academy in Katowice and leader of the cello section in the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

He graduated from the Academy of Music in Kraków, where he studied in the flute class under the academic supervision of Professor Barbara Świątek-Żelazna. He completed his solo playing studies in Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgard in the class of the legendary French flautist Jean-Claude Gérard. He received scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art, the award of the Pro Europa European Foundation for Culture for exceptional artistic achievements, a scholarship from the Hans und Eugenia Jütting-Stiftung Stendal Foundation and a Creative Scholarship from the City of Kraków.

The first trumpet and soloist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra, which he joined in 1984. He performs as a soloist with top Polish orchestras.

Since 1993, he has been the first French horn player in the Warsaw Chamber Opera. He has cooperated and performed with Menuhin Festival Orchestra led by Lord Yehudi Menuhin as well as with the Penderecki Festival Orchestra led by Krzysztof Penderecki. In 1998, he signed a contract as the first French horn player in the international orchestra Philharmonie der Nationen directed by Justus Frantz. He is a co-founder of the brass quintet Chamberbrass. Currently, he is the first French horn player and the soloist of The Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw.

He is the brass instruments section leader in the National Opera and a soloist in Sinfonietta Cracovia and the National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra. Co-founder and the first bassoon player of the Varsovia quartet. Performs with the Varsovia Nova quintet. He is an active teacher, conducts bassoon seminars and workshops and acts as a member of jury at numerous competitions. In 2012, he earned his PhD and became an Assistant Professor at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.

Since 1979, he has been combining his career as a bass trombonist in the National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra in Katowice with his work as a concert performer and teacher. He cooperated with such distinguished artists as: Claudio Abbado, Leonard Bernstein, Lorin Mazeel, Kurt Mazur, Placido Domingo, Krzysztof Penderecki, Mścisław Roztropowicz and Yehudi Menuhin.

Iwona graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology and completed her PhD studies at the Collegium of Business Administration at the Warsaw School of Economics. She has managed to turn her theoretical knowledge into a business success. She has assumed a number of key managerial functions, recently as Marketing Director in Dr Irena Eris Cosmetic Laboratories. She acquired her professional experience in companies operating both on the global (METRO AG, Nestle) and local (USP Zdrowie, dr Irena Eris, Eveline Cosmetics) level. She is an expert in the field of marketing principles in regulated industries. A co-creator of long-term marketing strategies for multiple brands from the pharmaceutical industry: Apap, Ibuprom, Gripex, Stoperan, Xenna, food sector: Mövenpick and Manhattan ice-cream, and the cosmetic industry: Dr Irena Eris, Lirene, Pharmaceris. All of them have been successful Polish market players ever since. The campaign “For the invincible” executed by her and her team for Ibuprom was recognised with the Silver Effie Award in 2010. She honed her team management skills at David Clutterbuck Mentoring Academy, where she obtained the EMCC Mentor cerfiticate. Currently, she is running mentoring processes and providing leadership skills training. She is putting her 19 years of experience in marketing to use as a consultant, helping companies define their strategy and build brand value and providing advice on positioning and communication.

She has been operating in the banking industry and PR sector for 24 and 20 years respectively. Head of Bank Zachodni WBK Public Relations Department. Apart from media relations, she supervises PR, Public Policy and CSR activities as well as social campaigns. She worked for such companies as PKO BP, PBI, BGŻ (currently BGŻ BNP Paribas), Warta and Kredyt Bank (which merged with BZ WBK). She is highly experienced in strategic image-building activities and development of the information policy in financial institutions. She has participated in significant communication projects executed for the financial industry, including the communication of the merger of Bank Zachodni WBK and Kredyt Bank, rebranding of Kredyt Bank and Warta, and other activities related to public affairs, crisis communication and internal communication. She completed economic studies at the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Warsaw School of Economics and post-graduate studies in Public Relations at the Warsaw University. Active member of the Public Relations Council of the Polish Bank Association. She is always willing to share her knowledge. She was a lecturer at the post-graduate public relation studies at Kozminski University. She collects music concerts and loves good music and European cinema.

THE MYWAY FOUNDATION

The MyWay Foundation, founded in 2013, concentrates on supporting young classical music talents in their professional career. In the first year of operation, the Foundation took four exceptionally gifted musicians, students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, under its wings. For several months, Jennyfer Fouani (a flautist), Agata Nowak and Magdalena Langman (violinists) and Szymon Zawodny (a saxophonist) benefited from the professional support of the Foundation in the form of training courses and workshops in such areas as copyright management, finance, motivation and stress management.

Apart from workshops, they were provided with individual multimedia portfolios including professional recordings of musical pieces, their biographies, videos, professional photo shoots and websites: a basic set of marketing tools facilitating the start of career on the music market in today’s age.

THE KRZYSZTOF PENDERECKI EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR MUSIC

A unique project on a global scale: the first such centre for young music talents in Poland and Europe. The centre is a meeting point for talented artists, young musicians and excellent pedagogues and the area for experience sharing and group education and development. The idea behind the foundation of this outstanding place was to create the conditions enabling young music talents to compare their skills with each other and learn from unquestioned authorities of the Polish and European musical world. The centre operates in the rhythm of music all over the year, inviting both artists and audience to concerts, festivals, courses, seminars, meetings and music workshops.

The facilities of the centre in Lusławice include a concert hall for 650 spectators, a didactic area including rooms for individual and team rehearsals, a library and the living area with bedrooms for programme participants: tutors and young artists. The modern architecture of the Centre is harmoniously integrated with the surroundings, which makes it a perfect place for creative activity.

„Rzeczpospolita” - A standard issue of Rzeczpospolita contains four parts: the main part presenting general news; Ekonomia i rynek, focussed on the economy and markets; Prawo co dnia, dedicated to law; Życie Regionów, offering regional news; and Plus Minus, a weekend magazine. Dwójka Polskie Radio

Dwojka is a public cultural institution with the broadest coverage. Various music genres can be found on the air here: jazz, folk, classical, avant-garde. Dwojka broadcasts live concerts from the most interesting Polish music festivals: „Sacrum Profanum”, „Warsaw Autumn”, „Chopin and his Europe”. Opera performances and concerts are presented live from London, Vienna, Berlin, St. Petersburg, Salzburg, Bayreuth. Dwojka promotes Polish music throughout all the continents.

It acts as a patron for young artists representing Poland in international competitions. Radio orchestras perform in its concert studio. Dwojka finances their recording sessions and concert activities. Debut novels and new releases are presented on the air, but classic literature and classic drama also have their place here. The radio theatre hosts performances by Polish stars of stage.

Santander Relationship Centre

The Santander Orchestra Academy is based in Santander Relationship Centre located at the Bank’s headquarters at al. Jana Pawła II 17 in Warsaw. Its interior will be adapted for the groups of instrumentalists participating in the workshops.
